The Women’s Association MODS for the SDGs, supports the project of Granada as European Capital of Culture 2031

This week, the Sustainable Development Goals Women’s Association, MODS, has formalized its endorsement of Granada’s bid as European Capital of Culture 2031, adding to the project the commitment of an organization that works from Granada with a global focus for a more just, sustainable, and inclusive world.
MODS is the first women-led association in Spain to transversally integrate the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. Legally established in Spain and based in Granada, the organization promotes female empowerment and women’s leadership as a fundamental driver to achieve the SDGs, with the conviction that gender equality is both an end and a necessary condition to transform the world. Its network of associates and collaborators extends to more than 15 countries in the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia, with a presence in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Morocco, Senegal, Sweden and Canada, among others.
