This morning, the Granada City Council approved in the Local Government Board the guidelines for the 23rd edition of the Federico García Lorca City of Granada International Poetry Prize, one of the most prestigious literary awards in the Spanish-speaking world and one of the city’s key cultural hallmarks.
The competition, driven by the Granada City Council’s Culture Department, recognizes each year the complete poetic work of a living author whose career constitutes a significant contribution to the cultural heritage of Spanish language literature.
