The Book Fair joins Granada 2031 on Book Day and reinforces the city’s candidacy for European Capital of Culture

The Granada Book Fair today formally pledged its support to the Granada European Capital of Culture 2031 bid. This took place on a day of particular significance for the city, coinciding with International Book Day and the official launch of one of the highlights of Granada’s cultural calendar.
The signing of the agreement, endorsed by the President of the Association of Book and Stationery Trade Businesses of Granada and Province, José Manuel Gómez Conde, and the General Secretary of the Provincial Federation of Commerce Businesses and the Self-Employed of Granada, Miguel Moreno Fernández , both heads of the Granada Book Fair.
This signing demonstrates the commitment of the literary and publishing sector to a bid that continues to gain support from institutions, organisations, and cultural representatives across both the city and the province.
