The 75 edition of the Granada Festival will be presented in The Netherlands

Next Monday, June 8th, at 2:00 PM, the 75th Granada Festival will be presented at the Het Documentaire Paviljoen, home of the Grachten Festival in Amsterdam, thanks to the sponsorship of Turismo de Andalucía and in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in The Netherlands. Traveling to Amsterdam will be the Director of the Granada Music and Dance Festival, Paolo Pinamonti; the Territorial Delegate for Tourism, Culture and Sport in Granada, David Rodríguez; the First Vice President and Deputy for Tourism, Marta Nievas; the Director of the Granada Provincial Tourism Board, Manuel Muñoz; and the Mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo. Their purpose is to promote the Granada Music Festival, Andalusian heritage and culture, and to attract European music-lovers to Granada and its province.
The Spanish Embassy, represented by the Cultural and Science Attaché, Joaquín Durán, and the Tourism Attaché, Félix de Paz, along with the Director of the Grachten Festival, Tonko Grever, will host the presentation to the Dutch media. Representatives from TRANSAVIA, the airline that operates direct flights between Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport and Schiphol Airport since 2024, will also be present.
This institutional presentation to the Dutch media of the Granada Festival is part of the international promotional activities for the event, with the support of Turismo de Andalucía, presenting the program of this 75th edition to various European cities such as Bialystok, Florence, and Ravenna. These two Italian cities are home to the Orchestra Giovanile Luigi Cherubini and the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, respectively, and both will be present with two outstanding concerts this year, bringing Riccardo Muti and Zubin Mehta to Granada.
