Granada continues to bolster its bid to become the European Capital of Culture 2031, securing the backing of several influential European cities, including the current ECOC, Nova Gorica (Slovenia), and the 2026 ECOC, Oulu (Finland). These endorsements come alongside the support of Florești (Romania), as well as existing partnerships with other former ECOCs such as Évora (Portugal), Leuven (Belgium) and Victoria (Malta). These developments will further consolidate Granada 2031’s robust international support network.
