The Association of Professionals for International Development (APDI) becomes latest organisation to pledge its support for Granada's ECOC 2031 bid
26 July 2025
The Association of Professionals for International Development (APDI) has officially joined Granada’s bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031. The APDI’s endorsement was announced at an event attended by the Mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, and the organisation’s Director, Juan Antonio Rosado Fuentes. This new addition is a significant boost for the city’s bid, given that the APDI has international reach and a solid track record in cooperation, training, and consultancy linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The APDI operates on four continents and specialises in procuring, managing and implementing projects financed through multilateral funds, particularly European funds. Its vision aligns with the spirit of Granada 2031: to build a better future through personal, professional, and social transformation in the regions where it operates.
