Granada is celebrating World Poetry Day with a great literary marathon currently underway at the Lorca Centre

This Saturday, Grenada is experiencing an intense day of poetry to celebrate of World Poetry Day. Starting at 12:30 p.m., the Federico García Lorca Center is hosting a great literary marathon, bringing together nearly a hundred authors for a public reading open to all citizens, which will continue until 9:30 p.m.
Once again, the city proves that poetry is a vital part of its cultural heartbeat, turning this space into a vibrant forum for the poetic word throughout the entire day.
The event is organized by the City Council of Granada through the Granada UNESCO City of Literature program, in collaboration with the University of Granada and the Diente de Oro Association, also has the participation of the Granada European Capital of Culture 2031 Consortium. It comes at a key moment for the city, after its passage to the final stage of the bid.
