Granada to take its flamenco to one of Europe’s major festivals
2 june
There are places where flamenco can be heard. And then there are those where it is celebrated almost as a language of its own. One of them is Mont-de-Marsan, the French town that every summer becomes one of the great meeting points for lovers of jondo art in Europe. And this year Granada will once again play a leading role. From June 30 to July 4, the 37th edition of the Mont-de-Marsan Arte Flamenco Festival, one of the genre’s most prestigious international events, will take place, once again featuring a prominent Granada presence both on stage and in some of the program’s headline shows.
