Granada City Council marks World Heritage Day with cultural events at the Alhambra palace and venues across the city

This weekend, Granada City Council will mark World Heritage Day by offering an extensive array of cultural activities for all audiences. The events will take place at venues across the city, with the aim of showcasing Granada’s rich historical, natural, and built heritage.
The Mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, emphasised the importance of this commemoration at a time when the city is entering a crucial period in its bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031. She expressed her hope that both locals and visitors alike would have the opportunity to attend the events, which include cultural activities for all ages, flamenco music and dance, sporting activities, flashmobs, and guided tours.
