Granada asserts its vocation as a city open to the world and reinforces its bid for the 2031 European Capital of Culture at the FAMSI Assembly

Today, Granada hosted the 27th Ordinary General Assembly of the Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI), a meeting that brought together local government representatives from across Andalusia to analyze the organization’s lines of work and reinforce municipalist commitment to international cooperation.
The mayor of Granada and executive vice-president of FAMSI, Marifrán Carazo, was in charge of welcoming the attendees at an event held in Carmen de los Mártires, where she highlighted Granada’s role as a city of encounter, coexistence and dialogue between cultures.
