Taking place from 18 to 26 April, the ‘Desgranando Fest’ Science Communication Festival aims to bring science to every corner of Granada in a variety of formats, including workshops, film screenings, talks, exhibitions, tours, art and critical thinking activities.

The Desgranando Ciencia event, which has been enjoyed by the people of Granada for a decade, has evolved into Desgranando FEST – a more ambitious, open and regional format that will take place throughout the entire province of Granada.

Under the slogan ‘Science at your fingertips’ (La ciencia al alcance de tu mano), the festival will explore science in all its forms. Extending from the city of Granada to the smallest towns in the province, the festival will unfold across multiple venues, taking over theatres, squares, cultural centres, schools, libraries, bars, museums and heritage sites

The festival fits perfectly into Granada’s roadmap as a candidate to become the European Capital of Culture 2031. Europe recognises projects that connect culture, education, innovation and territories. In this regard, Desgranando FEST is a clear example of this collective ambition. Granada is a city that collaborates, nurtures talent and views culture and science as drivers of transformation and progress.
