Today, Granada celebrated the local Red Cross’s official endorsement of its bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031, announced during the 11th Red Cross Charity Run. The event brought together hundreds of participants for a day characterised by solidarity and social commitment.

The Mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, described the endorsement as “particularly exciting and significant”, pointing out that “the Red Cross represents values that define Granada: unity, generosity, and commitment to the common good.”
