On Saturday 4 October, “Las Alquerías” Park in Granada will host the 14th edition of the Independent Festival of “La Chana” District (FICH). This cultural and social event will run from 11 a.m. to midnight and will once again turn the neighbourhood into a hub of citizen participation and alternative leisure activities. Organised by the Chana, Encina and Angustias Neighbourhood Association, in collaboration with Granada City Council, the FICH has established itself as one of the unmissable events in Granada’s cultural calendar, thanks to its diverse and accessible programme, which is open to all members of the public.

FICH 2025 is another milestone on the road to Granada 2031. It shows that the city’s bid is based not only on major events, but also on the community initiatives that make Granada a creative, participatory and diverse place.
